“NSGPF's financial support helped to keep the Brookline Center 's Observation group program at a discounted rate. It's exciting to know that there is a place like NSGPF where we can turn for help.” —JEFF BRAND, PSYD, CGP | Funding for ClinicsFunding for clinical mental health training has become less and less available. To provide clinicians with access to quality training, NSGPF provides financial support to clinic programs that provide mental health services to historically underserved communities and that utilize group interventions to promote health. This support ranges from seed grants for program development to specific grants for interpreter services, group supervision, and group training. In addition, we support training for individuals who work in clinics that provide group interventions in the form of support, psychotherapy, substance abuse treatment, occupational therapy, wellness groups and other modes of out-patient group treatment.
