NSGPF provides scholarships to professionals so they can acquire the additional training needed to enhance their group skills. We offer scholarships to qualified students and professionals to attend the nationally recognized NSGP Training Program, group conferences, and other professional development opportunities. In our commitment to promoting social justice, equitable access to educational opportunities, inclusion, and diversity, NSGPF seeks to provide scholarships and grants to those who work with historically underserved populations. NSGPF ScholarshipsThe Anne Alonso Scholarship funds partial scholarships to attend a course(s) within the NSGP Training Program, a group therapy leadership conference workshop or Institute, special event, or other group leadership training opportunities. APPLY HERE The Michelle McGrath Scholarship funds attendance at all or part of the NSGP Annual Conference or the NSGP Training Program. Special consideration is given to clinicians working with the LGBTQ+ community. APPLY HERE The Debora Carmichael Scholarship for Working Parents funds attendance at all or part of the NSGP Annual Conference and/or comprehensive experiential group training at NSGP. Intended to provide significant financial support for clinicians who demonstrate an interest in group work and the potential for leadership, with special consideration given to clinicians who are parents of young children.
